I am a graduate of the University of Michigan, with a B.A. in English/Education and MSW in Clinical Social Work. I’ve worked as an educator for roughly eight years, and a clinical social worker for over three years. I love traveling and enjoy working with people from many diverse backgrounds. My absolute passion is cultivating wellness through holistic practice. I tend to enjoy nurturing growth mindsets and believe in physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional wellbeing. As a clinician, I strive to build relationships where people feel respected, safe, and free to be their authentic selves. I am dedicated to advocate for my client’s needs and utilize innovative/resolution focused approaches to care. I often describe my practice as being rooted in love, where I am committed to support others through their own personal journey of healing. I am a fan of psychodynamic therapeutic techniques. I believe that clinician and client should focus on the psychological roots of emotional suffering to change patterns of thought and behavior. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) are modalities I often use in working with individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, mood related illness, and ADHD. My philosophy is to inspire hope and contribute to overall well- being through caring and dependable service. I am excited to work together in your individual journey towards wellness!

My Name is Rataucha pronounced Ratasha and my role here at Westlake is Therapist Coordinator and I am a CAADC , LLPC (Substance Abuse Counselor and Professional Counselor) and CFTC (Certified Forensic Trauma Clinician) .I am a mostly Person-Centered therapist. I believe in focusing on every individual’s needs, goals and desires in a manner that is conducive for them. I do not believe that there is a treatment that is right for all persons served, but that approaches to treatment must be tailored to each individual. I utilize multiple therapeutic approaches like Motivational Interviewing, Strengths Based Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, and CBT. My approach to my clients is to meet you where you are and not where I want you to be, with unconditional positive regard, respect and patience. I have a biopsychosocial perspective regarding treating the whole person in order to facilitate lasting sobriety and mental health. I believe that everyone has the right to the comfort of a trusting therapeutic partnership, and I ensure this through confidentiality. My personal philosophy is “If you can help someone toward a change of heart, then they can have a change of mind; which activates a desire for a change of life”
